Prices
All prices are FOB
Tawakoni Plant Farm and are subject to change without notice.
Ordering
Orders are subject to
availability of stock on hand at the time of delivery and other
considerations beyond our control. All plants grown in 4" pots or
smaller are sold in flat quantities only.
Picking Up Orders
Pick up orders
require a 24 hour advanced notice. Drenching pesticides may be
necessary, depending on your area. This will require a 48 hour
notice. Our minimum pick up order is $250.00. For better
customer service, please arrive at least one-half hour before closing
time when picking up your order. A 10% restocking fee will be
charged for any orders pulled that are not picked up.
Visiting the Nursery
We are always glad to
see our customers; however, we do request that you call and make an
appointment with one of the sales staff in order to serve you better.
No one will be allowed into the nursery unaccompanied.
Purchasing
TPF is a wholesale
grower. In order to buy at wholesale prices we require a copy of
your Floral Certificate, Sales Tax Exemption Certificate, Company check
and a business card. Prices are FOB our nursery or point of
origin, and subject to change without notice. The invoiced price will be
the price in effect at time of delivery.
Credit
To establish a credit
account with us, your company should have been in business for more than
a year and have a credit application completely filled out. TPF
also accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.
Please tell your salesperson at the time ordering if you wish to use a
credit card. If you have not established credit, payment will be
due at the time of delivery. Credit terms are net 30 from the
invoiced date. Past due accounts are subject to a finance charge
of 1.5 % per month, or the legal limit.
Preliminary Lien Notice
For the benefit of
the landscape contractor and TPF we request information as to developer
(owner), general contractor, and lender on all job sites where we
deliver on credit. A material release will be issued on request
upon payment of account. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Claims
Claims are to be
noted on delivery ticket at time of delivery. If an error has
occurred, please notify us within 48 hours. Damaged goods must be
returned to TPF before replacement or credit is issued. There is
no warranty, expressed or implied, as to variety or productivity of the
nursery stock we sell. Liability, in all instances, is limited to
the purchase price at the time.
Delivery
Our trucks must
operate on a fully loaded basis. We, however, will make every
effort to see that your order gets to you on time. We also have
the capacity of shipping either brokered truck or LTL carriers (less
than truck load). In order to make delivery costs more equitable
and simple to work with, we have established a Less Than Load
Unit(LTLU) measure to every item in a nursery container. Please
use the freight chart in the Price List to determine delivery cost.
Contact the office or your sales representative for your copy.
There will be an
additional $25.00 charge for every drop after the initial delivery.
Job site delivery can be arranged provided someone can properly receive
the order. All deliveries are tailgate. It is expected that
all customers supply help in unloading the truck. Drivers are
instructed to work on the truck only, assisting and supervising
the proper handling of stock as it is removed from the truck.
Your cooperation is appreciated!
TPF will allow for a
maximum of 2 hours of unloading time for semi-trailers, after which a
detention fee of $50.00 per hour will be charged. Please remember,
the CUSTOMER is responsible for unloading of all deliveries. TPF
recommends that customers provide sufficient equipment and crew for safe
and prompt unloading of deliveries. All deliveries are curbside
only. It is up to the customer to place the plants after the truck
has been unloaded.
Contract Grow
Tawakoni Plant Farm
grows more than one thousand different plant varieties. Although
we keep an ongoing inventory of most of these plants, your project may
require that you have material grown on a contractual basis in order to
ensure timely delivery. At Tawakoni Plant Farm we will be happy to
grow material that you need for your project according to contract
specifications.
A contract growing
agreement is generally used for projects that will be shipped in the
longer term (3-24 months). This agreement is also used for the
following reasons:
Non-standard
containers
Species that do not
fall within our normal production list
Projects that require
site-specific collection of material
Quantities of
material that exceed the general market demand for a particular species
Material that
requires a full production cycle to produce.
To ensure that we can
meet your schedules, please contact us well before your planting dates.
