Ajuga x tenorii 'Chocolate Chip' \ Carpet Bugleweed

Dwarf herbaceous groundcover with moderate growth of 2-3” tall and 2-3’ wide. The chocolate-brown foliage is topped off with lacy-blue flower spikes in spring. Full sun to part shade. Zones 4-9.

Calyptocarpus vialis \ Horseherb

Low spreading, 8x18” groundcover with scattered, yellow incidental flowers forming a dense mat. Blooms March to October, in shade or part shade. Requires little water, well-drained soil, and can be mowed. Zones 7-8.

Phyla nodiflora

Low-growing groundcover. Tiny dwarf verbena-like flowers with heads up to ½” across. Grows in any well-drained soil, or will tolerate seasonal poor drainage. Performs well in full sun, part sun or shade. Will bloom from spring to fall. Evergreen to dormant in winter. Will tolerate moderate amounts of foot traffic. Mowing not recommended. Zone 6.
